Haven Banks has a reputation second to none with regards to the activity opportunities it provides for young people. The Centre has been providing school holiday activity courses and sessions for over 50 years, which is testament to the outstanding service we provide. Being Ofsted registered and holding numerous National Governing Body and HSE accreditations and recognitions, you can be assured your children are in the safest possible care. The Centre provides an extensive range of outdoor and adventurous activity opportunities for young people throughout the full six/seven weeks of the school summer holidays, the full week of October, February and May half-terms and throughout the two-week Easter holidays. There really is something for everyone regardless of the level of ability or confidence. Courses and activity sessions include:

  • Half-day, full-day and multi-day courses in disciplines such as sailing, climbing or paddling. Young people can work towards national awards and accreditation.
  • Full day courses of 2/3 activities during the half term holidays and Easter holidays.
  • Week-long multi-activity courses in the summer holiday provide an exhilarating choice of over 10 activities over the full week.
  • Half-day courses for Little Adventurers (aged 5-8) during every school holiday.

Holiday programmes run from 9.30am - 4.30pm Monday to Friday with the option of an early drop off from 8.00am and late collection up to 6.00pm for busy parents. Half day courses run from 9.30am – 12.30pm. Arrival for registration opens 15 minutes before the course start time and collection is up to 15 minutes after the finish time.

We believe our activity courses and sessions compliment the Every Child Matters initiative launched by the Government , whatever their background or their circumstances. We provide the support young people need to:

Please note the following information and T's & C's:

  • Our new booking system allows you to register your interest in advertised courses before they are released for booking.
  • Should places have sold out, you can add your name to the "Waiting List" on the online booking system
  • Please ensure you create an account for each child and use that account to book the child attending.
  • Refunds cannot be provided once a course has been booked. Any requests for changes to a booking will require approval and may be £20 administration charge.
  • Unfortunately, we cannot offer refunds/future credits for illness.
  • The Centre reserves the right to cancel or postpone a course or session in the event of poor up-take, bad weather or any other influencing factor. Should this occur, a similar or alternative activity or date may be offered or at the discretion of the Centre Manager, a full or part refund offered.
