Training Expedition: Friday 7th & Saturday 8th March '25

Route: North Moor.

Day 1: Prewley Moor > Kitty Tor > Nodden Gate (Camp) ETD 12:30pm. It is likely we will be finishing in the dark so please have your torches easily accessible!

Day 2: Wake 5.15am - Teams walking two different routes. Nodden Gate (Camp) > White Barrow > Holming Beam ETD 7.15am/7.30am

These route forms part of one of the  Ten Tors Challenge routes and you are likely to have part, if not all of this route on the Ten Tors Challenge. It will be a half day walk on Friday, Finishing walking and pitching tents in the dark. Please ensure torches are easily accessible!

Meet: NA College Friday 11.05. Anticipated arrival on the Moor 12:00pm

Return to school: Approx. 4.00pm Saturday

Kit: Full expedition kit as listed on the Ten Tors Mandatory Kit and Equipment List. All team kit such as tents, stoves, gas, hi-vis vest, maps, compasses, and team first aid kit will be provided.

Really important all equipment, to the correct specification is carried. Please see Important Messages on the main page.

Full Expedition Kit will be carried by teams so please account for this when packing your rucksacks at home.
