Haven Banks Activity Open Days
Haven Banks Outdoor Education Centre runs a number of taster and open days each year. These fun-focused days offer you and your family the opportunity to come down to the Centre and have a go at one or more of our fantastic land and/or water-based activities..
These are real family and community orientated events, aimed at introducing people to outdoor activities. A series of short sessions will be offered throughout the day (from 10.00am - 4.30pm) in a range of fantastic activities.
During your visit you can learn about the Centre, our facilities and all the great activities we offer throughout the year.

Uniformed Organisations Leaders Open Evening (Free)
2021 Date TBC. Calling all Leaders!! Come along for a FREE trial of some fantastic outdoor activities we offer here at Haven Banks Outdoor Education Centre. Gain knowledge and experience and learn how positive the outdoor environment and adventurous activities can be for the young people you work with. Take a tour of our centre, learn about the available National Governing Body accreditation schemes and how activities can be used towards your organisations badge work. All attendees will receive a discount voucher for 2018 bookings! Available taster sessions include: Climbing Wall /Powerfan/ Indoor Caving. *Terms & conditions apply.

Family and Friends Open Day
2021 date TBC. Enjoy a fantastic day of outdoor adventure with your family and friends! Take to water and/or rock to experience just some of the exhilarating activities on offer at Haven Banks. Learn new skills and have fun along the way for as little as £7 per person. Please hurry as places book up quickly! Activities include: Kayaking, canoeing, and sit-on-top kayaking, stand up paddle boarding, sailing, climbing wall and the 20-metre Powerfan descent. *Terms & conditions apply

Come and try a range of outdoor activities at Haven Banks. Free taster sessions in canoeing, sit on top kayaking, wheelie boat rides and our realistic replicated rock climbing will be on offer to anyone with additional needs or a disability who is aged eight and over.
Please come along and find out more ways to get outdoors with Haven Banks.
The open day runs from 10am until 12.30pm and all activity registration is online. Within the medical section, when completing the online booking form, please provide full details of your disability and mobility along with any other information we should be made aware of to make your visit to the centre more enjoyable.
Teachers Information Open Morning (Free)
2021 date TBC. Teachers! Come along to our Teachers Open Morning. Tour our state-of-the-art facilities, meet the staff and trial of some of the fantastic outdoor activities that are available here at Haven Banks Outdoor Education Centre and all free of charge! Gain knowledge, experience and learn how positive the outdoor environment can be for your students and pupils. Learn how these great activities break down barriers to learning whilst building pupils confidence, self-esteem and motivation. Link activity programmes to the curriculum or just as a reward. We can guarantee life long memories at Haven Banks and not just for your pupils! We're here to help and, with our assistance planning and organising, offering your students and pupils such memorable experiences is a lot easier than you think.
